Planetbeing’s Jailbreak 7.0.3 fraud Concerns, Apple to Release 7.0.4
Today, following our recent post regarding the status of the iOS 7.0.3 jailbreak and how development rests on the upcoming release of the Retina iPad mini 2, the staff of Jailbreak iOS Evasion came across a couple pieces of interesting news we decided to share with our readers. First, let’s recap, essentially the evad3rs (the team behind the evasi0n iOS 6 jailbreak) have all the major exploits they need to complete the jailbreak 7.0.3 and 7.0.4 utility, they’re mostly waiting on Apple to release the iPad mini 2 at this point. Surprisingly, earlier today, famed hacker planetbeing of the evad3rs shared his disdain regarding a fraudulent evad3rs “jailbreak” site that’s infamous for distorting the truth and posting fake, irrelevant articles to gain popularity.

In his tweet, which we will not embed for privacy reasons, the hacker conveyed his frustration with the fake site in question, that shall remain nameless, pumping its readers full of erroneous hope.

As a general rule of thumb, don’t believe anything you hear regarding jailbreaking, unless it’s from a verified and trustworthy source. Of course, our mission at Jailbreak iOS Evasion is to keep our audience completely apprized of the the current jailbreak status and all related news.

Now, on to the second piece of news we alluded to above. Earlier today, a popular Apple news and rumors site by the name of MacRumors reported that the site has seen a surge in hits from internal Apple devices running iOS 7.0.4 in their web logs.

With the first signs of 7.0.4 having appeared on October 22nd, it’s safe to assume that Apple is likely preparing the minor update for a public release. Although little is currently known about the upcoming 7.0.4 firmware, it will undoubtedly correct a number of issues that are still present in iOS 7.

As far as the iOS 7 jailbreak is concerned, if Apple releases 7.0.4 or a newer update prior to the evad3rs’ utility, which they almost certainly will, said firmware will be jailbreakable.
